Actiondeb.com was born out a ten year tradition of creating a “Summer Guide” booklet listing all sorts of summertime NYC-centric events – providing info on anything from the Philharmonic in the Park to Water Taxi Beach, Bryant Park Movies to the Jones Beach Concert listings. Friends and family raved about it, passed it along, and wanted more. So upon publishing the 2007 Summer Guide, I decided that the next natural step in this project was to create an on-line version. No better way to pass information along to the masses than to launch a website! After a successful Actiondeb.com website launch in the summer of 2008 and re-launch for summer 2009, Actiondeb happily continues to connect you to the coolest outdoor concerts, films, art exhibits, festivals, and cultural events happening in Manhattan & beyond! What makes Actiondeb.com different from your run-of-mill internet “City Guide”? It’s not created by a massive internet company generating tons of advertising dollars supplied by run-of-the mill restaurants & clubs. (Although if anyone wants to give Actiondeb tons of advertising dollars you are more than welcome to contact us here :-). Actiondeb has no agenda except to provide you a focused calendar highlighting the coolest events happening in NYC. Consider it to be your short-guide written by your cool-friend-in-the-know!
