Q: What is Actiondeb.com?
A: Actiondeb.com is a free events calendar bringing you listings of events in Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs. The calendar originally was launched on June 1st, 2008, providing listings of outdoor summer events, and will continue into the Fall of 2008 listing events that are held in both indoor and outdoor venues all over the city.

Q: Are all the events listed on the Actiondeb.com website free to attend?
A: In general events are free unless indicated by the appearance of a "Buy Tickets" link on the event page. If you click on this link, it will take you directly to the website where you can purchase tickets for that event.

Q: There are three dots in the bottom right-hand corner on some dates on the calendar, what does this mean?
A: This means that there are so many events happening that day they couldn't fit in the box! Click on the dots and a pop-up box will show you the complete listing of that days events.

Q: What is the Weekly Action! newsletter?
A: The Weekly Action! newsletter is just that - a weekly e-mail blast to all those people who sign up for our Mailing List, highlighting the upcoming week's events. Please note that Actiondeb.com holds your private information in the highest regard and would NEVER share or sell your information with anyone. Read our Privacy Policy here.

Q: What is "Spongecell" and why does their advertising appear on every Event page?
A: Spongcell is a promotional website service that Actiondeb.com has partnered with to create this summer calendar. Without them this project would not be possible, so if a little bit of promotion helps them help us, so be it.

Q: Why aren't there more events listed in ________ (insert your Borough here).
A: We have tried to focus in on the best events and ones we are most familiar with. If you know of a public event that you want to suggest that we include on Actiondeb.com in the future, please feel free to pass along the information here and we will consider adding it to next year's calendar.

Q: Does actiondeb.com host any events?
A: No, actiondeb.com is in the business of keeping you informed of the best summer events, but we are not a social activities organization.

Q: Will actiondeb.com continue bringing us information about the coolest events in NYC after Labor Day?
