Welcome to the Weekly Action! Newsletter
Keeping you informed of the coolest events all year long!

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend - couldn't have asked for more AMAZING weather! The upcoming week brings us more than a few festivals, starting with the NY Documentary Film Festival, which runs from Wednesday thru Sunday at the Anthology Film Archives, and the NY Uke Festival, featuring all sorts of ukulele performers, proving that there's much more to Hawaiian music than Don Ho. If a screeching guitar solo is more your style, check out the NY Air Guitar Championships at the Bowery Ballroom on Thursday night - whomever organized this one is truly brilliant. Check out some of last year's show here courtesy of YouTube.

And for those art lovers out there, make sure to head to Washington Square Park next weekend for the 79th Annual Outdoor Art Exhibition, when tons of talented photographers, painters, and sculptors take to the streets displaying and selling their works.

But the biggest news this week is the upcoming re-launch of the Actiondeb.com summer calendar! On June 1st (Actiondeb.com's one-year anniversary), I will be posting a calendar for the entire months of June, July, and August, featuring listings of more than 200 outdoor events in NYC. Get psyched for SUMMER!

Cheers,
Actiondeb-
